Hello, World! I will be your guide on this journey we call reading. So how did you end up here, reading the ramblings of a book-lover? I don’t know, but I’m very glad to see you. I love making connections over the content of a book, because then there is always someone to clarify, cry, and clash with someone about the story. I have been a reader as long as I can remember, so I look forward to using this blog to talk freely about the books in my life, both the wonderful and the dreadful. I don’t want to fit the librarian stereotype where she reads constantly, savors the quiet of her workplace, and values the companionship of her 3 cats (even though I do fit the stereotype, cats and all). I’m always looking for a new book to read, so if you are, too, why don’t we take that literary adventure together?
It’s funny…. I too try to break that typical librarian mold. My husband says that I fit the mold in many ways, but I don’t see myself as such. I do wear my hair in a bun and wear glasses. 🙂 Maybe this is HIS idea of a typical librarian? As for social media…it is so easy to have a different personality of each, especially when the purpose of each is different.
